Another group of next generation tradesmen attending our annual factory tour and cabinetmaking introduction. This group from the Tauranga Boys College‘s Secondary Tertiary Programme took advantage of a real world hands-on view of getting into a trade. This programme is a government initiative which helps boys transition from school into meaningful vocational pathways where there is a skills shortage.
We hope to see some of these promising young men back in the Gartshore factory in the near future! We appreciate the importance of re-investing not only back into our business but the construction industry as a whole, it is important that we provide these next generation tradesmen & tradeswomen with a structured career path.
If you have a school group you’d like to bring through, don’t hesitate to get in touch as we’d love to give you a tour.
