Horizon by SkyCity

A project years in the making, this newest 5 star hotel by SkyCity is designed with American white ash timber veneer joinery and Gartshore manufactured and installed this in each of the 303 rooms over 12 levels. The standard for quality was extremely high and needed to be both heavy duty for regular use and visually beautiful. Gartshore completed a variety of works throughout the project with detailed brass work, lighting, and stonework. Through 2018 & 2019 we put in the hard yards to be almost 99% complete by the time of the devastating fire of the adjoining convention centre in late 2019. Despite all the challenges that followed this event, we are pleased to see our joinery in the 303 guest rooms completed and looking fantastic in this beautiful hotel in central Auckland.
