Our Approach

To remain on top of our game, we’re constantly updating our methods and systems. This means our tech, our factory and most importantly our people are the best the industry has to offer. It’s why we’re considered New Zealand’s leading construction, commercial interiors and joinery company.

Make Anything
Happen

Our reputation has been built brick by brick, cabinet after cabinet since Bill Gartshore started in 1956. We take every shop fitout and hotel interior very seriously. We travel the globe in search of the latest design trends, materials and innovations. This allows us to bring the best the world has to offer, back home. Whatever you have in mind, we have the passion and means to make it happen. We stake our reputation on it.

Seamless
Process

As the old saying goes, when you want something done right, do it yourself.
Unlike other companies, we do everything in-house. This allows for a more seamless process, achieving better results for our clients. The earlier we get involved in planning, executing and crafting a project the better.

Capacity &
Expertise

When we say we can do something, we mean it. Our unparalleled experience, capability and capacity speaks for itself. Our people, equipment, facilities and knowhow make us true masters of our trade. Big or small, we can do it all.

Local
Presence

There’s a lot that sets us apart but having good people across the length and breadth of our country is one of the things that makes us unique. Having branches where you need them, means face-to-face meetings and personal accountability is just around the corner. It also gives us better understanding of customer needs in different regions. Everyone and every project is different. Fortunately, there’s one company that has the experience to do it all.

Sustainable
Practice

We use the highest quality materials and expertise in everything we do. We want our work to last for a long time, and we feel the same way about our beautiful country and the communities that call it home. We only use FSC certified forest products, we use a process called “nesting”, which allows for minimal waste, and we donate off-cuts and spare materials to charities that need them most. All cardboard, aluminium and copper is recycled on-site.

Health & Safety Commitment

We are committed to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.  Our business involves numerous risks through the activities we conduct, and therefore we ensure our management and workers are totally responsible and committed to the continuous improvement of the WG Health and Safety Policy and the overall Health and safety Management System
